I smile politely back at you, the world needs saving from you too
So join together through the spite, we need the left we need the right
Just fade the lines, forget the blame, we’ll work together and maybe save


Where have we gone wrong, we’ve killed the air
Polluted seas without a care
First with oil and crap and now with ice
But I know how to save our lives

Electric grids producing smoke and wastage from us western folk
All now driving heavy cars while light pollution covers stars
Lay down a list of what is wrong, the things we’ve been saying all along
Now we need action they all wait, and I pray to God it’s not too late and

Now I begin to raise my voice, I’m begging you, just to make the right choice
Just starting small recycling, turn off your TV now and then
Just do one or two things, walk not ride no packaging
Though it’s still small if we all try, maybe we can save our lives
